[New Theater Text Based on Luxelakes Community] is the second stage of the theater director and screenwriter Xiao Jing’s residency in Luxelakes. In the first stage, Xiao Jing built a workshop based on the play “Our Town” and prepared to rehearse it. However, after repeated consideration in the second stage, Xiao Jing decided that instead of directly rehearsing “Our Town”, she should create a theatrical text about “Our town” based on the situation of Luxelakes community and individual stories, and retain what she saw and felt here and creative inspiration.
Therefore, Xiao Jing hopes to get to know the individuals here through interviews and one-to-one co-creation activities, and create their stories again with permission. If you are willing to share your own story and would like to introduce her more to the people here, you are welcome to sign up.
