2024 RE-CONNECT《Suspension in Tension》Performance Art Experience

Introduction

Event Description

“The magic of the elastic band lies in its tension and resilience, able to stretch up to three times its original length before breaking. It is an object that both bears and captures energy, much like our lives.”

During the performance, the elastic band stretches as the artist moves, while he cuts the ropes wound around his body one by one until the vase at the other end falls. In previous performances, the artist has emphasized the process over the outcome, leaving the fate of the vase—whether it shatters or not—an open question.
