RE-CONNECT

2024 RE-CONNECT《Night of Frame Drums》Sofa Sonata Vol.7

Introduction

In ensemble chamber music, the piano, violin, and drums respectively play the roles of the muscles, bones, and heart of the musical composition. Different instruments interpret various layers of the musical piece through distinct expressive logics in the arrangement, and their players have different habits of expression. When these musicians, each representing different layers and textures of the music, pick up the same instrument, the frame drum, what new chemical reactions might their unique musical logics bring to the music?
