  • Artist

    Ding Mi
Mi Ding is an independent artist with a background in architecture and art. She has a wide range of experiences that cover a variety of fields from art installations to large-scale infrastructures. These experiences have given her a deep understanding of spatial needs in different physical environments, as well as the practical skills to realise innovative ideas. For Mi, great design should be close to the human being. She seeks to combine beauty with practicality, believing that beauty and elegance should not be confined to art galleries, museums or high-end residences. Therefore, she endeavours to create subtle designs that are applicable to everyday life by using affordable and recycled materials and simple craftsmanship, and blending creativity and pragmatism.
