Ecoprinting Plant Dyeing Workshop

Introduction

Event Description

Ecoprinting is a technique that uses local plant materials in combination with recyclable mediums to create fabrics and leathers dyed with plant patterns and pigments. Due to the varying geographical factors of the maker’s location—such as sunlight, water quality, soil pH, and the types and distribution of plants—the resulting fabrics and textiles display unique plant shapes, patterns, and colors, rich in regional characteristics.
